New Delhi [India], April 23 (ANI): The Indian Air Force on Wednesday mourned the loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang, who was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, the Indian Air Force expressed condolences to the family of Corporal Hailyang.
“All air warriors of the Indian Air Force mourn the loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang in the terror attack at Pahalgam and convey heartfelt condolences to his family in this moment of immense grief. The IAF stands in solidarity with the families of all those who lost their lives and prays for the swift recovery of the injured,” IAF posted on X.
Earlier, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic demise of Indian Air Force Corporal Tage Hailyan, hailing from the state’s Lower Subansiri district.
Taking to the social media platform X in the aftermath of the attack, Khandu conveyed his condolences, noting that Corporal Hailyang, a native of Tajang village, was visiting Pahalgam with his wife when his life was taken in the attack.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the late Corporal’s bravery and dedication, stating that his service to the nation with courage and honour is a source of pride. Khandu also extended his heartfelt sympathies to Hailyang’s family.
Khandu added that his demise was not just a loss to the family but also a loss for the nation.
“Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Corporal Tage Hailyang of the Indian Air Force, a brave son of Arunachal Pradesh who hailed from Tajang village in Lower Subansiri. While visiting Pahalgam with his wife, his life was cruelly taken in a senseless act of terror. He served the nation with courage and honour, and his untimely death is a great loss not only to his family but to the entire country. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, especially his wife, who survived this horrific incident,” he said. (ANI)
