Chandigarh [India], July 14 (ANI): In a decisive move to uphold the integrity of government land, the Chandigarh Administration has successfully executed an anti-encroachment drive in Village Raipur Kalan.
This operation, spearheaded by the Engineering Department with the support of the Enforcement Team of the Estate Office, targeted unauthorised occupations on government property, according to a press release issued by the Chandigarh Administration.
During the drive, multiple unauthorised temporary structures were identified and subsequently removed from the site. This rigorous action has led to the reclamation of approximately 7 acres of land, which had been encroached upon illegally.
“The Chandigarh Administration’s commitment to preserving government land and ensuring the city’s planned development was clearly demonstrated through this action.
“This anti-encroachment drive serves as a strong message that the administration is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of its lands and preventing unauthorized occupations,” said the press release. (ANI)
